You’ll never know. What you never know

You sit alone.

Knowing if you go and chat you will probably be accepted.

But you don’t. You sit.

The thing is you are not sure you want to talk. Not sure you can.

But, you are not sure you want to be alone.

And.

Don’t want to break down the wall & build the bridge.

Because, what happens if you are stuck AND you are already mildly content by yourself.

BUT what happens if it’s great. And the contentness grows. Things might flourish. They just might.

Still you sit. Have a coffee. Eat a biscuit. Stare at a conference room, a bar, a hostel, a meeting room. One more biscuit.

Are you content? Or are you imagining the worst-case scenario? Both maybe…

What can be powerful is the quiet and the still.

Sitting on my favourite beach. A quiet space in the office. Going for a run. A favourite sun spot on my face.

Sometimes it can be frustrating to want THE answer. Personally, I can be frustrated by that, but I also know i’ve got to take responsibility.

I’ve had ALOT of ‘another biscuits’ in my time, procrastinated.

It’s not the decision that is the problem; it’s often the procrastination – I rarely get myself to 100% of the right answer.

Just succumb. One way or another. Whether from heart or head, Make a decision.

It’s just stuff. Make the decision, if it hits 100%, wonderful.  If it doesn’t, there is always another biscuit.
